Damn Groundhog.

OK.. so the ground hog lied to us. So did the weatherman.
This morning I walked out to an unexpected 4" of snow in my yard. It is always a happy moment when you are leaving to work, and in a brilliant train of thought you want to save your budding crab apple tree. So what is the next step in saving a crab apple tree? Kick it, so all the snow falls off the branches so they don't break. And onto your head.

Brilliant.

Come visit friends. Colorado is fun.
so is italicizing stuff

Kickball

So... because I have nothing else to do.. I joined Wednesday night kickball with some people from work. Here is how it went down.

Imagine a water cooler:

Accountant: Think I can add faster then you?
Me: Probably.
Accountant: Wanna join my kickball team?
Me: Like 5th grade kickball? Okay.

(And the rest is history, we are currenty 2 and oh)

More Scotland.

Do ewe need to make a telephone call? (Ok.. that was bad.. but amazing that this phone booth was in the middle of no where next to some sheep. )

Even though I was as tall as our car, it was important that the traffic sign reminding us not to drive off the cliff was there.

This forest is the original 'Fire Swamp' from the Princess Bride. Seriously.
[Buttercup nods, but looks perplexed. She steps forward into a pit of sand and suddenly vanishes. Wesley, thinking quickly, cuts a vine and ties it around himself then plunges down in search of Buttercup. Moments later, they resurface, gasping for breath and coughing.]
Seriously.. Christian pulled me out of death mud here. My shoe almost went man down.

In the begining...

I am kicking this blog off with my recent trip to Scotland. The land of sheep and beauty.

Extreme Lia (above)

This picture is from the Isle of Sky. If you look really close you can see the rock outcrops.. this one in particular was called the "old man". It didn't look like a man. But I suppose it is real old.

Christian and I explored the west coast of Scotland, visiting Nessie at the Lockness, the Isle of Sky, Aberdeen and countless little towns.
