Stupid Bob

Ok.
So the Bobcat mentioned in my previous post has caused me more troubles than any 1 bobcat ever should. Here is the break down of the events.
1. While petting the bobcat a flea jumped up and bit me.
2. Said flea moved into my sweater. When I wore that same sweater skiing it bit me 3 more times. My lymph node swelled up.
3. I got all freaked out and threw ALL of my clothes in the wash machine.

4. My cell phone was in the pocket of the pants I was wearing...that I threw in the washer.

5. My cell phone is now very clean and flea free.

6. Don't try to call me...atleast for a couple of days..

7. Don't pet the bobcat in Price, Utah.

Random January

I have had a couple of exciting weeks.
First. I saw a woman walking a BOBCAT. I was in Utah for work and we saw the woman walking her Bobcat on a leash down the road. OMG. We stopped and petted it and asked the owner about 1 million questions. A bobcat. Sadly, it would not play with us or let us pet her for too long.

Yep. I am starting to go outside for work. It is so much fun to be out getting my hands dirty asking dumb questions.

Bianca, my little mama and I went and played BINGO. I am amazed by the subculture of the game. Like a fool, I thought I could play 3 cards (afterall, all of the grandmas play like 6). I just cannot scan the numbers fast enough to make the "double x" or "letter T". Bingo is not just Bingo. And I don't have a hard core dobber backpack. I tried to take a picture of one but I was afraid.

The snow in Colorado is fluffy, soft, fun and very ski-able. It is an epic year.

I feel like I should say what else is going on in life with me. Here we go.

1. Hmmmm.. I was not able to caucus. (I know.) I got stuck out of town with no voting machine and no "I voted" sticker.

B: Bianca moved to Boston. Boooooooooooo.

Thirdly, I am going to a fancy-schmancy party Saturday. BUT, I fell yesterday while playing soccer and scrapped up my knee pretty bad, AND it is all puffy. Maybe I won't wear the mini-skirt. Maybe the prom dress still fits.. dad made sure it went past the knee.

4. School is school. Nothing to report there folks.

Work schmerk

So I pretty much feel like I don't do anything except for work these days. My company switched to a 9-80 schedule.. which means we are at work for 10 hour days and we get every other Friday off. The idea is great because who doesn't want 26 extra days off a year.
Right?!
I never realized how difficult it would be to be at work that extra hour.

To fill my maditory lunch hour, I have started running. (Liam Obrian should be scared) I am training to run a marathon with Lisa B. Her goal is: before she turns 30 she wants to run a marathon. We are going to do the Jersey Shores Marathon in April. Running is some good excercise, for the past 2 weeks, I have gone every other day to the athletic club in my work building. I run on the treadmill watching 5 t.v's at the same time. I use the warm towels they provide, which is especially nice after a shower. The only thing that I don't really about the club is the dressing room.....people insist on doing their hair and make-up without too much clothing. Maybe I am just prude or modest but I just don't think it is necessary to iron your cloths naked in a public dressing room. I am so 7th grade.

School blues.

Today was the first day of my last semster at school.
I wish it were Satuday.
I wish I were back on vacation.
I wish I could find my pink eraser.
I wish I were laying on the beach.
Anything but my calculator and midterms and lectures.

New Year's Resolution

My New Years Resolution is to start recycling. I figure since I have curb side recycling I should use it. SO I need your help. I don't really know how to recycle. How do you keep stuff separated? Where do you store it?

Last year my goal was to drive less, and to not spend $4 on coffee. It worked out well.. I started taking the bus to work and I learned how to use my coffee pot. I cannot say that I now never drive to work or never buy Starbusks.. I just do it about 50% less.

Gabrielle came into town after Christmas and we got some good work done on the slope. Gabs. is. cool.

During New Years a friend and I went to Pagosa Springs (south west CO). It was pretty cool to be in the steamy hot springs with ice in the river. It was also fun to snowboard Wolf Creek with powder up to our knees and then finish the day in the hot springs. Happy New Year's.
